How does the consultation work?

EMAIL US
FOLD SPACE Studio will email you a design questionnaire to help us understand your project, priorities, and expectations. Please provide your existing floor plans or layouts, any relevant site information, and a written overview of your goals, priorities, and concerns.

SITE AND CONTEXT ANALYSIS
Based on feedback from the workshop, the floor plan is refined and revised. This stage allows adjustments to improve functionality, flow, and spatial relationships.

INITIAL BRIEFING CALL/EMAIL
An initial briefing call or email discussion will help us understand your project, clarify your priorities and concerns, and establish a clear direction for the design review.

DESIGN REVISE
Once the layout is resolved, we will prepare the concept floor plan drawings with Marked-up plans, sketches, and written recommendations and/or consultation notes. The revised plan is issued within the agreed timeframe.

FLOOR PLAN REVIEW WORKSHOP
Following the briefing, FOLD SPACE Studio will review the site and existing layout to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure our recommendations respond to your needs and the site context.

FINALISE FLOOR PLAN
At this stage, the floor plans are ready to support the next phase of your project, and we can discuss any additional services as needed. Interior design services are available separately.
Fee structure
The Plan Layout Review package starts at $1,400 + GST, which includes 6 hours of dedicated professional design expertise focused on improving your home’s layout, functionality, and overall design value.
As every home and project is unique, the final fee will depend on the size, complexity, and scope of the review. We will provide a fixed-fee proposal once we've reviewed the project requirements and existing plans, so you will know the cost before we begin.
