Design Process Explained
01. INITIAL DISCUSSION
A sincere design process begins with listening, carefully taking notes, and understanding clients’ inspirations and aspirations. Before your project begins, we’ll meet with you (online or in person) to discuss your vision in detail. This ensures that your ideas, budget, planning requirements, and expectations are aligned. The client will receive a form to fill out their vision and expectations. Once the vision and concept are established through collaboration we move to the next phase.
02. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
We begin by discussing your ideas, budget, and project timeline in detail, leading to the preparation of a comprehensive fee proposal. Your initial thoughts are translated into a design brief and early schematic sketches, forming the foundation of your project. From there, we progressively develop and refine the concept, introducing fresh ideas and insights.
03.DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
After the initial meeting, we start drafting 2D plans & 3D design ideas that will reflect your desired space. Â We'll develop the function, form, and efficiency of the design, with consideration for optimal construction methods, the current rules, and regulatory requirements.
04.DESIGN APPROVAL
With the agreement on final layout we will consult with energy assessor and get the final assessment. Â If required, our services will guide your design through additional approval processes such as a planning permit, or other site specific approvals.
05.CONSTRUCTION DRAWING
We develop detailed working drawing sets and architectural specifications in order for your design to be built or tendered. We will also assist with on-site supervision (on request).
